The climate in Vienna is generally mild and continental. Often a moderate westerly wind makes cool days even cooler. But the Viennese appreciate this wind because it brings fresh air from the surrounding Vienna Woods to the city.
From May to September temperatures are usually above 20°C during the day, while mornings and evenings might already be a bit cool and it is more likely to rain than in summer. We recommend to take a jacket and an umbrella with you!
